For example, we are taking action to transform our flagship Temiscaming, Québec site, and make it a highly-competitive world-class operation for the long term. This will enable us to meet customer expectations for quality and reliability, as well as community expectations for sustainability, while ensuring profitability for Tembec.
Temiscaming improvements include a $273 million green electricity facility which produces steady hydro power revenues. It has also helped to increase manufacturing efficiency, reduce operating costs and improve environmental performance..
